How does The Lies of Locke Lamora end?
Locke slips free of the Falconer’s magic because Locke is not his true name, and after mutilating the Bondsmage he learns that Capa Raza means to use four Wraithstone statues to destroy the minds of the nobles gathered for the Day of Changes. Locke warns Vorchenza and the Salvaras, helps evacuate the tower, and tricks the authorities into destroying the ship Satisfaction, which secretly carries Raza’s treasure. He then stabs Raza aboard the Floating Grave and barely survives. In the epilogue, Locke, Jean and Ibelius sail away from Camorr, and Locke at last whispers his true name to Jean.
How does Locke kill the Gray King in The Lies of Locke Lamora?
Locke faces Raza alone on the Floating Grave knowing he cannot win a fair fight, since he has almost no ability as a fighter. Jean genuinely does arrive moments later, in time to haul the dying Locke to safety, and Locke lives to leave Camorr.
What happens to the Falconer in The Lies of Locke Lamora?
The Falconer’s attempt to control Locke fails because the name Locke is not the thief’s real one, and Locke kills the mage’s bonded scorpion hawk. Locke and Jean then cut away the Falconer’s fingers and tongue but leave him alive; the fate of Therim Pel, annihilated by Karthain after several mages were killed, stands as the warning that slaying a Bondsmage invites revenge from the entire order. In the epilogue the maimed mage is handed over to Vorchenza to be returned to Karthain.

Afterwards Locke and Jean set fire to their home with the bodies of their brothers inside, vowing revenge, which the final act delivers in full. The two of them are the only Gentlemen Bastards left alive at the end, with Jean gravely hurt from killing the Berangias sisters and Locke battered by beatings and his confrontation with Raza.
